The Couple Behind Keep Speaking Portuguese
From a Shared Concern to a Growing Community
Hugo and Érica noticed that many Portuguese learners were experiencing the same problem: they could study for years and still struggle to understand native speakers in real life. Brazilian Portuguese sounded too fast, informal expressions felt confusing, and the fear of making mistakes made speaking even harder.
That concern became the beginning of Keep Speaking Portuguese. The podcast was created to give learners regular exposure to natural Brazilian Portuguese through conversations about real life, culture, family, food, travel, music, regional language, and the stories that make a language memorable.
As more learners found the podcast, KSP grew into a community. Today, the mission remains simple: help people keep listening, keep practicing, and keep speaking Portuguese with more confidence and connection.
